STAND BY- This is one of the most annoying cheats. This is basically when you get a blue screen. What the cheater does, is either hit a reset button on the back of their router, or they push the button on the back that says "STAND BY". You can only push this button for a little while because if you keep it on too long, it will disconnect you from the host, and boot you out of the game.
MODS- This is when you buy a chip to put in your xbox. Basically lets you get into coding of halo 2, and lets you minipulate alot of aspects in the game. Like everyones ammo, respawn points, health, speed, guns, jumps and alot more. Modders can only, well....mod on the new maps that did not come with the original halo 2 disc. If you want to make sure you dont get modded, either buy an anti-mod chip, that picks only old maps when your host, or you can do it the easy way. When its on step 2 of matchmaking, go to your xbox and put your ear up to it. Since you downloaded the new maps to your harddrive, it has to load the map, and that will make a noise when it does. Either its loading the new map, or you got a crappy xbox. Either ones good........... :P. This is what evans friend used to get evan his 31
SUPERBOUNCES- Yeah, superbounces arent cheats, but im posting this here for the new players who insist that the guy was cheating when he saw him use magical powers to "WOOSH" up that tower. Well, hes not cheating you new player (noob). Hes superbouncing. I wont waste my finger effort on typing this again for a peasant, so look on the Superbounce Page. That page is new, but it Tells Alot of info of why superbounces exist. BUNGIE HAS APPROVED OF SUPERBOUNCING BECAUSE EVERYONE CAN DO IT, JUST INVOLVES A TINY BIT O' SKILL.
SWORD CANCELING- This is NOT a cheat at all This is when you swing at enemies with a sword and you dont hurt him, or her (if shes an butterface in real life, AKA rejection from society).....Anyways, this is fun to screw around wih in custom games. It lets you get to high points in maps that even superbounces dont enable you to reach. You can also Butterfly. Butterflying is when 2 people get together. (No this isnt leading to what you think you sick scumbag :P ) One guy stands on another guys head...Lmao this sounds so wierd....The one on the bottom..looks up while the other one jumps up and down...(Now it will sound normal lol) Guy on the bottom taps (X) and (R) at the same time while looking at the other guy on a lock-on. You will rise in the air slowly, but its fun as hell to do.
Rocket Canceling-Bungie had an update that removed this nasty glitch. But now theres a new one!! (Isnt it great that you got losers who stay home all day without a job who always find another way to cheat....lol)
HOW- press (X)(Y)(B)(R) at the same time looking at an enemy. You MUST have a sword and a rocket to do this. So this is mainly a custom game thing. I dont think anyone could have time to do this during gunfire in matchmaking, so you dont need to shake while your reading this anymore. YOUR SAFE. There, is that better....
